Did you guys give Zippers information about your bikes before purchasing the unit? I'm waiting for delivery ona T-Max that I ordered through M&M Cycles but nobody asked me anything about my bike or which aftermarket gear I'm running on it. For some reason I thought EVERY different ThunderMax map was included on a CD or something. If not, how the hell am I supposed to taylor the thing to my bike?
I gave them the yr and pipe and intake info and Pete came back with a part number. It shipped today. He said it would be loaded with the closest map they have.

Once you have the T/Max unit, you can go ontoThundermax Support/Download page and select your configuration of exhaust, intake and more. Once you have your setup, you download the map and load it into the software provided. Here is a link that expalins the process. (Click here)

I don't know about the heat issue but like stated above anything that can dial you directly in must take care of that problem. Talking to my builder right after the Cinnci show and he was telling me that they had a bike set up with an exhaust system they could choke down and open drastically and a comp screen to display the auto mapping featurs. Bike builder was amazed at its capabilities. My 2 cents anyway. BTW kick *** Street Glide you have there
