not so much a "sensor"...a sensor will output values between 0% and 100%.
the oil light is controlled by a switch, which is either 0% ( off) or 100% ( on)
check the switch is functioning properly, this is on the front right side of crankcase.
a broken wire can also be a cause
to quote a book;
...it may be the result
of a low oil level or diluted oil supply. In freezing weather, the
oil feed and return lines can clog with ice or sludge. A defect
in the lamp wiring, faulty oil pressure switch/sender, damaged
oil pump, plugged oil filter element, incorrect oil viscosity,
broken or weak spring in the oil pressure relief valve and/
or damaged or incorrectly installed O-rings in the engine may
also cause the indicator lamp to remain on.
I had the same issue with my 02 FLHTC. Oil light would flicker or come on but pressure was good. I changed the sensor and still had the problem. Further investigation lead to loose wires at the connector. Wiggle the wires by the connector and your light will probably go out.

, plus check to see if the push on connector has corrosion inside it. Due to the location, the connector could have had moisture in it from riding in the rain, washing the bike, etc.
