I was on this same fence when I spec'd my 107". One call to Bobby Wood and he brought me down off the fence on the 777 side and I couldn't be happier.

One additional recommendation he had was the 30T pully swap for my riding style ... two-up in the mountains. Take a look at the final numbers in my sig ... she is a screamer. More cubic inches would be way more fun, but for the money spent, I am very happy.

The canned map from fuel Moto cuts out at 5700 and the 777's still want to run. I think fuel moto recommends keeping the rev limiter at 5700. I thought about raising the limiter but I'm getting it dyno'd in a week and will see how she runs with a better tune.
I feel the same way, although, my limiter is set at 6,200. The tuner did very well getting the power out of my build (the top of the scale with this build), but he shut her down at 5,850 on every run with the horsepower curve still climbing in my opinion. He said there is nothing left beyond the 5,850, but what do I know ... he is the expert.

I am not going to quiver over 1 or 2 horsepower on a graph. By seat of the pants dyno, she does feel done when it hits the rev limiter though and when ******* her I will find the next gear at 6,000.

I would recommend going with the AIM lockup clutch versus a heavier spring. I had the heavier spring installed when I did the 107 kit on my last bike. The heavy spring was brutal in stop and go. The lockup clutch worked great, I never noticed any slipping even with 112/121.

BrianSF those are impressive numbers and I will eventually get there just have to do it a little at a time. With a son that's a senior in high school and all the money that incurs, saving for his college and helping him with his bike, some things just don't happen as quickly as you'd like.

2010 Limited with some stuff!!
