Default Luggage Recomendations

Looking for a new large multi day piece of luggage that mounts solely on the luggage rack (4 point mount) with out the need for the sissy bar. Thanks

I use a tbag.

Mine sits on the pass seat ( flhtc), makes for a nice backrest.

watch craigslist, you'll save 1/2 or more

I've done a lot of research on this in the past. There are some pretty good options - Road Ready, T-Bags, etc. In the end, I chose Nelson Riggs because I believe it's the best quality dollar-for-dollar. I'm convinced you won't find anything better at the same price point.

I purchased a saddlemen BR3400, plenty large enough for a weeks trip has many fastening options a complete rain cover which is easily deployed and tied to the bag so you can't lose it to the wind. The only negative I have is the bottom of the bag is not very rigid so if your rack is narrow you will have to shape a rigid board between the bag and the rack to ensure the fasteners stay tight, otherwise a great bag.

I got the Dekker II. It's as big as they come, and it tour pack rack specific. Carried mine and hers clothes to Sturgis with room to spare. It's got rigid foam in the sides so it retains its shape when empty. I'd buy it again, but it's pretty pricey.

I like the Dowco Iron Rider. Metal frames to keep the bag from sagging. Can be stacked together and connect very well.
