Take a look at Gordon's heated clothing. I've owned Gerbing, Firstgear and now Gordons. They only make the gloves and jacket liner. The gloves are far superior to any of the others I've owned as far as fit and warmth. And, they ARE made in america. A lot of the Gerbing stuff is still made in China.

I recently purchased the new HD Dual Source Heated Gloves. By far the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn. Extremely soft leather and not bulky at all. They heat my hands very well and have the integrated controller on the cuffs of each glove. I'm very happy with this purchase and am considering getting the jacket liner as well.

I looked at those and they look similar to the T5 glove but how does the control adjust - push button? The other thing I don't get with those is the have the plug coming from OUTSIDE the glove while the jacket liner plug is on the inside.........ok, well, I know that techically the liner exits in the right place for those gloves but unless you've got a hole in your jacket sleeve it has to come out under the cuff making it pretty tough to connect.

I do think I jacket with a zippers slot or something with gloves like that would be a great idea and make putting gloves on and connecting them both easier and more comfortable. That is until water comes into the picture.

They have the push-button controller on the cuff that adjusts from low-medium-high (green-orange-red) and stay lit up to tell you which setting you're on. Red gets pretty hot and I leave mine on on orange most of the time. They're very flexible and the heating elements heat the entire hand, even the palm.

The gloves have a zipper on the outside and the inside. You can feed the wire and plug through a little grommet between the two zippered openings. I leave mine on the inside because I use them wired to the battery and with the harness fed through the sleeves. The zippered pocket on the outside if for when you use batteries and can plug them in and tuck the battery inside that outside pocket.

Ive rode in the rain with my t5's and even using a rain suit its no big deal the gauntlet covers the loop of cable from glove to sleeve.

And long as you are motivating h2o is not getting in. I agree they are real nice gloves even w/o the heat turned on I like them a lot. Fact I plug my gloves in first then put them on there is that much wire there fwtw.

I have been hoping to hear some more things on Gordon's heated clothing. Do you have the jacket liner and the gloves? How about their controller? I'm been really tempted to pull the trigger on the setup.

My wife and I use TourMaster jacket liners and Powerlet glove liners for the past 5 years. We love them both! I tried a FirstGear jacket liner over Christmas. Honestly, I felt it to be unwearable!!! I could feel the wire splices (like big knots)and wire-tie ends jabbing me in the back through my shirt. I couldn't lean against the backrest. I thought it had to be a bad unit until I checked others in the store. They were all like that. I have a FirstGear jacket I like, but I can not recommend their heat gear.

I only have the gloves at this time. I would be very confident buying their liner and if they come out with overpants I will be buying them. See this thread
