Based on what I read here, I picked up a Road Zeppelin seat. Due to the rain I have NOT been able to try it.
Here is my question to other RZ seat owners. Unlike most Harley parts I've installed that were pretty well designed, I actually had to modify the stock seats back bracket that you re-use for the RZ seat(the one that attaches to the rear of the seat and attaches the seat to the UG's fender) with an enlarged drill hole.
No matter what I tried I could not get the "stock" hole on the factory seat bracket to line up with the fender hole when I put the factory rear seat bracket on the RZ seat, per the instructions.
Did anyone with this seat have similar mounting issues?
I had to add some washers under the two bolts @ the metal seat tab in the rear of the seat and also bend it down some. It still does not line up perfectly but enough to get the seat on. I've had the seat on and off numerous times for other reasons and it has not been an "issue".
