just got back from my wifes first ride ever on a motorcycle. i had to make her get on the damn thing. then i had to make her get off of it. she loved it and DID NOT want to stop. that makes me feel even better about owning a $20k toy. looks like something well be able to enjoy together afterall. life is good.
well thats the good news. we have three pain in the azz kids that will keep her from going most of the time. i already told her that i would be buying a new corbin seat next week so "she" would be more comfortable. anyone have any ideas how to sell her on the benefits of a new exhaust system?
Get Harley's sissy bar and backrest also. Take her down to the dealership, hang around for awhile, find Dudes that come in with different height sissy bars and ask if you two can sit on it. We did that and I'm glad we did, because everyone at the dealership said "oh she'll be fine with the medium height, that's what everyone gets". Turns out after sitting on a couple different bikes the tall is what we ended up with. There is also a margin of safety involved in addition to her comfort. By the way thanks to all the guys that let us sit on their bikes. Very cool!
