Default Muffler question

I think this has been asked before, but I can't remember what the title of the post was.

I was tinkering with the ride today and noticed that the left side muffler was loose. I was able to tighten the clamp some, but I think it's a matter of time before it loosens up again. Isn't there an aftermarket brand of clamps that are better than the factory clamps?

Thanks

Believe it or not, the HD clamps (Torca), are the best ones out there.....

They can only be torqued 2 times before they no longer hold the tension....

They are inexpensive, and easy to replace.....

Okay, well I'll let it ride for now to see if I just did a crappy job the first time. Thanks!

You went riding today? Too cold and wet for me. I'm waiting for tomorrow afternoon.

Naw, by the time I woke up (I work midnights) it was starting to cool off again. That's why I was just tinkering!

Still haven't been able to ride on the new/old seat yet. Going to Raytown tomorrow, so I should have a report card by then.

I don't think they are all that cheap for a clamp. i paid about $5-6 each a couple of yrs back when i replaced the clamps on my 95. i should have kept the clamps and replaced the bolts.
