Stupid starting question

I guess I don't know what you mean by you "fooled around" with the security fob once it was loaded on the trailer. I still think you turned the security on when you "fooled around" with it and you need to push the button twice to turn security off.
For future reference, you bike does not have any worries about riding a trailer and draining the battery, unless you intentionally activate the security system after you load it.

Well it was definitely the security system. By fooling around with the security system I meant I had turned it on and thought I had turned it off. It appears that I did not turn it off and during the transport it must of gone off to the point of completely draining the battery. At that point it lost sync with the fob, which also as it turned out had a dead battery to. Must of just been enough juice to turn on the system and then it died.
we attempted to sync the fob, replaced a battery, nothing. Turned ignition on then off while holding the remote button down for about 15 secs the lights flashed twice and the red key light went off . Then it started right away.
Our thoughts are the alarm must have been set on and somehow the remotes lost connectivity with the bike system.
