Default led accent lighting mouting
im looking at putting led accent lights on my bike. i was wondering where you put yours on the motor? i would like to see how yours are mounted and where they're placed and what they look like on. yes i did a search and found some good ideas but no pics of how they are mounted which is what im mainly interested in

*ON* the motor? Uh... no.

Under the tank, behind the horn and the air cleaner, and also on the frame behind the engine where the spark plug wires go in.

not on motor of course but motor area. some have gotten the whole motor to be lit up instead of just parts. and some have made brackets to get certain parts lit up better

Pulled the tank and mounted to the frame rail, under the horn cover, under the throttle body or air cleaner cover, frame behind motor, underneath the bags on the bag rails, and under front fender. Everything I used had 3m double sided tape. Front fender lights aren't installed in this pic but you get the idea.

Hey Bates, I'm about to do front fender lights myself. Did you drill an additional hole in the fender for the wire?

No sir. I ran the wires through existing holes and a little creativity.

2010 Limited with some stuff!!

Hmmm, you have a hole on either side? I only have one, for the fender tip light.

I edited my response John. After thinking about it I don't have but one hole either. I think I came out under the fender and zip tied to the abs line. You've gotta be looking for it to see it.
