im looking at putting led accent lights on my bike. i was wondering where you put yours on the motor? i would like to see how yours are mounted and where they're placed and what they look like on. yes i did a search and found some good ideas but no pics of how they are mounted which is what im mainly interested in

not on motor of course but motor area. some have gotten the whole motor to be lit up instead of just parts. and some have made brackets to get certain parts lit up better
Pulled the tank and mounted to the frame rail, under the horn cover, under the throttle body or air cleaner cover, frame behind motor, underneath the bags on the bag rails, and under front fender. Everything I used had 3m double sided tape. Front fender lights aren't installed in this pic but you get the idea.
I edited my response John. After thinking about it I don't have but one hole either. I think I came out under the fender and zip tied to the abs line. You've gotta be looking for it to see it.
