I pulled the Kurry Spider light kit off of my old bike, and installed them on my new bike. I'm not real happy with the amount of light I'm gettin on the left side. I have the lights mounted on the bottom of the tank. On the right I mounted them behind the air box and get great lighting. I have 2 more pods I can place, and was looking for advice on where the best place to mount them to get my left engine side lit up more.
I did the coil relocation on my bke--moved the coil to where the horn is.
I have two pods on the back of the coil, which was pretty tight.
You should be able to get one or two in the horn cover, one pointing in towards jugs and the other pointing down....thats what i would do.
Should throw alot of light on the engine.
Also--I mounted a pod on each side of the bike--pointing up--in the general area of the foot controls. There is a small area on the frame that the controls bolt to that you can put a pod in. You can then run the wires along the lower frame towards the back.
This should highlight from the bottom, on your fins and bottom of the tank.
