Does anyone make a flagpole/holder that replaces the stock antennas on an Ultra? One that would just screw down onto the studs that are there when you remove the antennas. If not, I guess it's time to go talk to a machinist. If I missed a similar thread somewhere, please post a link.

I have a Rumbling Pride flag and mount. The mount is sandwiched between the stud and the stock antenna. I've had it on for probably 20,000 miles and it's never come loose. The flag has held up well too.
I have the set up from Kuryakyn and love it. I have http://www.kuryakyn.com/products/4080/flag-with-mount In fact the first time around, I forgot to use loctite. Called up Kuryakyn and told them about my attempt at attaching it and that I lost the mast and flag. The immediately sent me another one out at no charge. That's great customer service to me and it was all my fault!
But if you have an "Airwing" tourpak luggage rack, Propad (or Custom Dymanics) has a real sleek one that mounts on the back mounting post of the rack. Also you can't take off the flag/pole real easy and it doesn't interfere with a bag on top either.

Sorry to revive such an old thread but I was wondering if you found a flag pole that screwed on the existing studs or not. I just installed my tourpack removal and have the hidden antennas but thought some short flag poles would work good when I use it, otherwise I will just remove the studs like I've read on other threads.
I have the Rumbling Pride antenna mounts. They go on the antenna studs and then the antenna screws back on to hold them on. I have 2 of them and both the mounts and flags have been flawless. I leave the flags on all the time and they still look new, even with some regular short runs on the interstate.
They have several different options. I got 2 of the singles (one for each antenna).
