Thanks for the replys guys. I am going to compare the two. I would rather take material off the pan then the bracket. AtkRWCthanks for the clear coat tip I wil definetly do that where I take material off if I need to.

I am going to take a look at it this weekend and let you guys know.

Before you start cutting on the part or the bracket take it by the local Harley Shop and have them look at your problem. It is a Harley part and they should stand behind their product. It could be that the floorboard was not manufactured right and they need to replace it. It should fit with out modification.
