I have the opportunity to grab a set of fluted CFR pipes. I was planning to pair these to either Vance & Hines power Duals or Dresser duals with a Fuel Pack 3. Concerned with lack of back pressure and losing torque. I've heard that CFR addressed this issue. Just need some advice as a new Harley (2014 FLHXS) owner. Thanks in advance.

I have cfrs on my 2013 electra glide ultra limited. I like the sound but they had a problem with their chrome end caps flaking off the chrome. I sent my pipes back and they switched the end caps. took awhile to get them back. had to run my stock pipes till they arrived. fuel moto has a stage one package you might want to look at.

Thanks everyone. That flaking issue has me a bit concerned. I hope that was an isolated case and that you have not had that issue since.
Is anyone using the V&H fuel pack 3 with the CFRs... Is a map available for them?
I didn't know that the end caps were changeabe on these pipes...
They are and they are not, they are riveted on. I don't know how the black ones are doing, but I had my issues with the chrome ones.. I think they were on my bike for 2 maybe 3 months. They eventually sent me a new set, but it was pure hell getting them to respond in a timely manner. I sold the new set as soon as they arrived and bought a set of Jackpots from FuelMoto.
