When I turn on the left turn signal, it blinks 3 times and then starts blinking very fast. The right one is fine, only the left blinks too fast.
Both front and rear lights blink but if I didn't know better, I would say one of the bulbs is burnt out. But it is not. The rear turn signal is LED and the front is incadencent.
It has been fine for 4 years, and just started doing this today. Any ideas??
It will appear to blink because the running light shuts off when the turn signal comes on, so the signal is not blinking on, but rather the running light blinking off...

Make sense?
I thought you had the answer, so today I went down and and removed the bulb, and it was good. Just to be sure, I put it on my boat battery and hit the one contact and it lit up. I then hit the other contact and it lit up the brighter filament, and I kept it on there about 5 seconds to see if it would pull apart, and it didn't. So I removed the rear lens cover and all the LED lights work, none burnt out. So I am still looking for a reason. .
How much is a new bulb and to clean the contacts in the sockets at the same time? Then ya know for sure it's not vibration or temp related issue within the bulb.
