Well you can always sell the Harley and buy a motorbike that's made in Australia. Wait a minute, I just remembered, that they don't make any bikes down in Australia. I guess you're stuck.

I say ride it without the fender for a few weeks while you wait on the new part to arrive..It's probably going to arrive sooner than 8 weeks anyway. Probably just the "estimated" time it takes....and it does have to be shipped all the way to NZ....

Get a 55 gal drum of Vagisil. That oughta' last you until the fender comes in. Then, when it does, hurry up and sell the scoot. Pussies on Harleys, give us all a bad name.

I have a vivid black front fender with silver pinstripe. It has the fender tip light and mudflap. I'll ship it to you. Just pay shipping. By shipping I mean an airplane ticket, and rental bike once I arrive. I'm tired of the snow here!

I'm waiting on a two tone red saddlebag.... 6-8 weeks I'm told.

It's a little easier in that I can still ride while I wait, the old saddlebag just has a run in it.

Good Lord calm down man. You live on the other side of the planet from where it's being painted - right here in the USofA. I had to wait 8 weeks for a color matched tourpack and I live in Milwaukee where they build Harleys.

Try to remember, they have other customers to build things for. They're not just sitting around the break room when sirens go off alerting them that some guy in NZ needs a painted front fender stat!!

And maybe you should direct your angst at the stupid insurance regs requiring a factory paint job vs just having a decent painter do it.
