Actually, the standard ones you get from Harley are excellent!
I love riding in the rain and you can go at a very, very good clip because the water displacement is fantastic! Including when you are low on tread.

The hydrplaining is not the problem it is the oil on the road. There are no good tires for wet oil.

Ones that aren't bald.
Went to the York open house couple years ago. Hit heavy rain on the way back. My Avons did great. My buddy couldn't go over 60mph cuz his Dunflop was bald in the middle.
Metzlers did well in the rain too.
