You may be able to find a dealer willing to locate a new 2014 and have it shipped in. My dealer's sales person even found one in the exact color I wanted. It had 10 miles on it and I got it for thousands less than a 2015. I really like it so far but haven't ridden it as much as I'd like to due to the weather, but spring is coming.

I hope this helps.

The dealership I bought the SG from said they would start looking for a new 2014 in color I want as soon as we can work out details.

I had a 2011 Road King and loved it!!! So much so, I wore out the tires, brakes, and wheel bearings. So...... I traded it for a 2014 Road King!!! I like it even more!

Well, that's one way to replace worn parts.

The KING is the THING!

Best combination of form & function. It will be much more comfortable than your FXDC, although IMHO, it won't look as good. But, it'll look almost as good.

I love the look of a Street Glide but that 1" in the rear would have to be fixed for my 2 up riding. I max out my RKC air shocks for 2up to avoid those hard shots to the wife's back. You are in a win, win situation, the touring bikes are all good, just pick out how much storage, music and windshield style. I love the clear windshield and the ability to take it off for short rides. I love the leather bags so I have the classic but I admit a Street Glide with a rear shock upgrade would be a nice bike also.

Great choice. The three best things I did on mine were stretched bags for a lot more storage room, the extended and flatter brake pedal, and the windshield speaker.

A friend of mine went from a Road King to a Street Glide then just recently traded the Street Glide in for a Road King again after a year. Said he just couldn't stand not being able to ride without a fairing or shield once in awhile.

Harley should bring back the Road King Custom.

If memory serves me, I believe the only functional difference between the '14 and '15 is the addition of a hydraulic clutch....I had a similar experience with my local dealer in that I bought mine late in the year and they didn't have what I wanted in stock. They did find one and all is good....enjoy and ride safe.
