I have the same concern. The Super fit me great with the footboard kit. I had lots of room to move around but at the price of passenger room. If comes to it I'll move the footboards foward myself. Time will tell once riding season comes around.

Pretty sure, and virtually certain, the '15 King is still a cable clutch. Nothing I can see on the MOCO website, nor pics of the '15s indicate hydraulic on the Kings.

And OP, no way you can go wrong with the King. It's the finest riding bike I have ever ridden in almost 45 years of riding.

I went from a 10 FXDC to a 11 Road King and loved it. I now have a 14 King and this ones even better. 15's are still cabal clutch on the Kings.

I'm convinced on the Road King now. Owners seem the most passionate from what I've seen. I've been in several dealerships in last couple months looking and only seen 2 used Road Kings for sale. Mostly Ultras and Street Glides. That tells me a lot. Believe I'm calling dealer Wed on my day off and try to finalize this deal.

In that case I take it back- you wouldn't be happy with the way I do it- I just use an offset box wrench and an allen key. 3/4 turn backed off, cinch it down and its good to go. The part I get sensitive about it the cable adjustment.

RushKing14....you look to be running the V&H Power Duals. You like the sound compared to True Duals?

I don't have any experience with the true duals personally, but I do like the sound from the power duals coupled with the Rinehart 4". The bike sounds awesome from idle, to full throttle in my opinion at least.

I went with PDs for the siphoning/power advantages. Although, my understanding is that the TDs have a bit more of the old time Harley sound due to the two cylinders not being mixed on the way out, and the seat of the pants/butt dyno can't really feel much difference in power.

I believe your exhaust choice will be much more difficult than your bike choice. I would recommend riding it for a while, and hit a few bike nights and listen to other bikes to decide.

I ask because my buddy has the True Duals with 4" Rineharts on his Street Glide. They sound great. I'd be more toward power with a good sound. I have Rineharts on my Super Glide and love them.
