My brother just sold his softail and gave some goodies he took off. One is the tail light conversion kit. The one that turns the turn signal int tail, stop, turn light. However he doesn't have the destructions for the kit.
I think it's pretty simple, but the Electraglide only has about 3200 miles and I don't want to screw anything up.
Can any of you guys give me a quick run down on how to install the module?
If it is the HD unit the module will have two groups of wires coming from it, each ending in a plug.
To install, remove your seat; beneath the seat at the front of the rear fender will be the lighting socket for the rear fender lighting; unplug the socket; plug one end of the pigtail into appropriate end of the module wiring; and plug the other end of the module wiring into the remaining wiring socket for the rear.
It is very simple to install since rear lighting socket simply pulls apart and the module wiring can be installed only one way.
