If you're running the internal module on your radio, the factory antenna is the same that comes in the XM Direct car kits. It works okay. if you want to keep the antenna hidden in the faring, find one of the home kit antennas like in the attached picture. When looking at the signal information in the diagnostic menu screen, the signal reception for me goes from ~20% strength with the car antenna to ~35-40% with the home antenna mounted in the same location.
