So here is my 2012 streetglide with the winter mods done. Top shop viper cut bags and a bad dad 10"flush mount fender. I had the fender strut covers, docking hardware, bag rails, and horn cover and bracker powder coated black. Im pretty happy with the fitment and quality of the parts. The painter did a hell of a job. He even smoked the tail lights a little bit which made me nervous until i seen it. I was afraid it woulda been to dark because as you can see in some of the pictures you cant even see the tail lights at all until the lights are on. Id say he did a damn good job on it and happy as could be with the outcome. Kind of wish the parts had an extra inch or 2 of stretch on them but hey thats what she said haha. Overall looks great though. Only other thing i wish was a little different was the rineharts need to be moved out about another half inch-inch because the bottoms of the end cap is just behind the very bottom of the fender. Id prefer it just past that so its not blowin the heat from the exhaust on the paint.
Thanks guys. Definitely some coin wrapped up in this swap but i just like the way the the 10" flush mount fender has the lights glassed into the fender so it gives it that nice smooth look. I think what really sets it off is after the painter did the base coats he pealed the decals and gave it the last coat of paint to smoke out the lights before he cleared it and you cant seen them unless the ignition is on. Everytime i do somethin to the bike i always see somethin id change or do differently and im always sayin on my next bike im gonna do it this way haha. Damn money pits.
