Default Changing between CB channels?

OK...once the CB is set up (say Ch 19) and squelched and volume level set, as you are underway, is there any way to easily swicth channels (i.e., go from 19 to 9, 19 to 40, etc.)?

Somehow, the only way I have been able to change channels while riding is to turn off the CB completely and go through the whole set up again...not a real safe undertaking at 70 mph!

The CB is on an '05 Ultra. Any help will be greatly appreciated (and I am sure others have encountered this situation and wil appreciate the "fix", if there is one).

With the CB operating by itself, change channels by thumbing the right thumb switch you use to change radio stations. If you are listening to the AM/FM or CD, all you have to do is toggle the setup and change channels, then turn the setup off.

Not sure what you mean by "toggle the set up"? I usually run with the CD player or Aux (MP3 plugged in)...nothing I do short of shurrting the CB off on the dash seems to work.

If you have the owners manual it is on page 124 of the 05 manual. Guessing you don't have one.

In SETUP use the MODE SEL switch (right side lower rear switch) to select CB
Press and release MODE SEL UP or DN to switch channels on at a time.

To exit SET UP press and release the MODE SEL switch. Set up can not be exited if the squelch is broken.

Hope that helps
