Id like to swap out the radio in my SG, Hopefully looking for something that can be used with Sirius XM. Suggestions?

I just asked the same question but in the Audio forum. Lots of help there and lots of options.
Alpine, Sony and Kenwood seem to be the most popular. You will need some form of harness (ranging from $50 to $200) to keep your handlebar controls. Find a deck that has the features you want and throw it in......I went with a Kenwood that has Bluetooth, front USB (load a tiny usb flash drive and listen to music for days!), CD player and is XM Ready (it was $150). The sirius tuner and antenna will run you another $50.
Sell your HD stock radio for 200-300 and you are WAY ahead in the game! By the time you add it all up you've only spent a little but gained alot.

I spent the $200 and bought the Biketronics BT-1005x. Plug n play and lifetime warranty. It also comes with the install kit (faceplate, mounts etc) I also bought the Sirius SXV300 tuner for $50.
I have a PBR300x2 amp and Infinity Kappa speakers already in so I'm hoping removing the stock radio will help sound. It's already plenty loud....I really just wanted the updated radio and hopefully a little "fuller" sound.

The sirius tuner plugs directly into any Sirius Ready radio and then you just zip tie it the fairing. The small antenna can be mounted inside the fairing or some have gotten better reception by having it on the dash somewhere. It is small and rather unnoticeable beside the windshield.
I'm going to try mine on the inside first.......

This weekend we had a big party. One of the guys had a custom Alpine stereo with an amp mounted in one of the bags. I have never in my life heard a system on a motorcycle that sounded like this Alpine setup. I have always liked Alpine in my cars, and after hearing this bike, that's exactly what I would use.

Also, according to Alpine, they are Sirius compatible........

Try the Kenwood KDC X798 great unit, does everything.
I mounted the Sirius antenna on top of my headlight Visor trim ring, it looks like a little spoiler and hardly noticeable but I get great reception from this out front position.
