So I get a E-mail ad from HD for a new road glide special, even though I already have a 2015 RGS, clicked on it was reading it and saw where it says the RGS has the same "Premium Air Adjustable Shocks" as the CVO, knowing mine didn't come with them it has the hand adjustable (which I'm not 100% sure of), so I went to the CVO section and there they show a totally different air shock not the hand adjustable.
I would have rather had the air adjustable at least you know both sides are the same not two totally different shocks!
I plan on bringing this up to my dealer and see what they say.
Understand, I just liked the Air shocks I had on my 04 RK, I changed the pressure all the time depending on if my wife was riding with me. I don't see adjusting these that easy.
The hand adjustable HD shocks are actually an upgrade and a lot better shock than the air shocks. At least they were on earlier models. My '12 Limited came with air adjustables and were one of the first things to go.
Take a little time and learn about suspension. I'm not saying the hand adjustable are JRIs or ohlins but you're the recipient of better shocks over the standard air shocks.
Now go get a lawyer and sue them.

harley air shocks are garbage. cant believe youd want them instead
I hate to break the news to you.....All Harley shocks are junk, not just the air ride ones.
No matter which shocks you got, if they're stock....They're junk!

Gotta agree. When it comes to HD shocks there are degrees of junk, the air adjustable being the highest.
