Default Ape hanger question.

So a buddy of mine gave me a set of 16" apes because they were to wide for his short stature. anyways my question is how can i tell if they will work on my 2014 FLHR? They seem like the knurled area matches up, they are drilled/notched on both ends for internal wiring. The only thing I have noticed when choosing bars is they ask hydraulic or cable clutch and the throttle by wire issue has come up.
He purchased them for his 01 Indian chief and they still have the sock on them as they are brand new but no manufactures name just a part#, 40018. now I googled that part # and the most common bars come back as V-Factor bars. So my question is will these work or not?

If they are 1" at the grips and step down for the risers, they can be made to work. Are they notched on the throttle side for the TBW sensor? Not a huge deal if not. You can notch them...

Yes they are stepped down at the grips and at the risers from 1 1/4" but not sure about the notch I will check them tomorrow. But sounds good if I can still use them.
