I have a confession. I have never, ever liked the way the sharknose fairing has looked. So much so, that I think it affected my ability to remain objective when test-riding them and thus always came to the conclusion that they had no advantage over the batwing fairing.
But the more and more I see the new 2015's I can't help but think HD hit a grand slam with the redesign. It is one fine and mean looking machine and photographs amazingly.
When the time comes to purchase a new bike, the RG is going to be high on the list and I look forward to truly being open-minded about it's handling when I test drive it.
Any other previous haters been converted with the new models?
Haha! That's funny stuff.
I'm a dyna guy. Never cared for baggers at all. But that thing...
for some reason today, I stopped by my dealer too look at that blue one.
My gosh , gorgeous bike! It looks fast just sitting there.
I pick up one a couple of weeks ago. The funny thing is when you are riding down the road and you open up the vents next to the lights you cant help but think you are in the shark and looking out thru the gills
I'm on the other end of the spectrum...can't warm up to the new fairing design. no problem with the rest of the bike or the inner fairing, but once I see it from the front or side I just shake my head and move on past it.

I agree 100%. I am not ready to trade my 2011 Tri Glide yet, but I hope Harley sees fit to put this new version of the shark nose on the 2016 or 2017 Tri Glides. If so , I would be very tempted.
ive like the RG's for quite awhile now, but couldn't bring myself to get rid of my SG. However the new redesign is got me thinking about really looking into getting one.
