Hello there, I'm wondering if anybody that has this pipe can answer a question for me. Is the crossover pipe actual pipe or a stamped piece? I don't want to spend money on a stamped piece. I have a 2-1 system now but I think it's time for a change. Thanks in advance.
Quality is top notch, performance is great, I have them matched up with the Vance and Hines Twin Slash Rounds........ Until tomorrow then they will be matched with some CFRs
They gave the Twin Slash a deeper sound then the stock exhaust headers, and I could definitely feel the performance increase after the Cobra install.
Install was as easy as could be, I went with the SE gaskets only because I had read and been told they seal best with them. Heat shields and all brackets lined up perfectly, I had to shim the riders right side board with a provided washer.
As I mentioned, the chrome is top notch very good quality, and for me I like the look of a true dual system on a bagger.
Bonus, made in the USA
I hope this helps.

It helps a lot. I'll be ordering mine in the morning, but in black. I'm going to pair the with the Freedom Performance 4.5 Combat slipons. Also made in the USA. Thanks again.
I put Cobra Power Ports on my Street Glide about 1500 miles ago and agree with everything TcHunter had to say regarding quality, performance and install. The only down side I've found is that they sit lower than the stock pipes, so the lower heat shield is the first thing to hit the pavement in a smile inducing right curve.
The first time makes you cringe, but once you've got that first gouge out of the way, it's all good.
I concur I've had the Cobra Power Port head pipe on my bike for about 4 years. Still looks and performs great and it was one of the easiest head pipes I've yet to install.
