Fork springs comparison
I am getting ready to rebuild my forks and planning to use a Ricor Eliminator with heavyier duty springs. I realize that the easiest thing to do would be to just order Ricor's lowering kit at $130 but I am considering just buying 09 and later springs from the MOCO which are supposed to be 33% stiffer. Does anyone know if the stock springs are progressive wound or strait rated? I am wanting starit rated. Also, there is a different part number for Fairing models vs. non-fairing models. Does anyone know the difference? Maybe the fairing model springs are shorter for a lower ride height?
