Cool Touring model gauges.

Hello,I have a 03 ultra and I was wondering if late model gauges can be swapped.Interested in going from the black gauges to the silver faced ones.Somebody let me know what if anything is different and if so what can I do to upgrade.

Won't work. In 2004 Harley change the plugs on the back of the speedo and tach. I was going to do the same thing on my 02 , until I found out that the plugs are different.

I put them on my '99 Ultra that has been upgraded to a 2002 wiring harness that's pretty much the same as a 2003 harness. These look the same as the stock gauges except with a silver background. They are not the spun aluminum faces that you might see on more recent models. I bought the speedo and tach new from the dealer. I think the tach is still available, part number 67459-00. My speedo is in kilometers and the part number for it was 67456-00 but it looks like it might be discontinued so maybe the MPH one is also. Both of these have a chrome (or stainless) ring around them. Although the tach and speedo from 2004 and newer won't work, the fuel, volts, oil pressure, and air temperature gauges from newer models will work since they have the same connectors as the older bikes, but I'm not sure up to what year. My smaller gauges came off a newer Road Glide and they also have the chrome ring around them. I think the part numbers for those might be 75165-01A (oil), 75166-01A (air), 75167-01A (volts) and 75168-01A (fuel). They also used to have a full kit in the parts and accessories catalog that I believe has all of the gauges and it's supposed to be for 2000 to 2003 bikes, 74457-00, but it might be obsolete.

There are places that can change the gauge faces or just change to leds.

Thumbs up Gauge up grade.

Thank's for the come back,I was afraid that the speedo and Tach might have different connectors. I had noticed that the connectors for the t-signals and the driving lights were different from older models, and assumed that perhaps other connectors were changed too.
