This has probably been posted before, but for those pondering swapping from stock to LED passing lights...take a looksee. The difference is literally "night & day."
I say it's worth the price for safety's sake...can be illuminated enough w/all the crazy "distracted drivers" out there.
I have a dilemma. I took all 3 of my LED's off my 2006 Road King. I just got a 2014 and the problem is you need to buy the adapter harness and SPLICE the new headlamp in. Well, I'm not going to cut and hack my OEM harness to make the headlamp work. The passing lamps are still plug and play.
The truckLite passing lamps are a bit better than the stock lamps using the 27.5w bulbs but the H-D Daymaker passing lamps are much brighter than the TL. The daymaker passing lamps work well with the TL phase 7 head lamp.

True, but Truck-Lite bulbs w/harness kit was under $200 shipped to my door...HD's Daymaker bulbs = $400. Sorry, but I don't see paying double-price for minimal difference. Not being a butt...just think it's another inflated HD product...JMO.
HD price $400 headlight..HG Price $400 passing lamps...their warranty on em...oh well once you pay if it blows out oh well...$800 total for HD inflation, forget it...No little light bulbs worth $800...There are cheaper ways to see and be seen..Just me though, I don't have $ to throw away for being stupid..
