You can find the correct part number for the stock ones on-line here and for the S&S ones on their website. With that info you can go shopping around!

Wink

This is S&S's website, showing the tappets that suit your engine. There are three options: a basic set, a premium set, a premium set with HL2T spacers.

I'm curious as to why you're changing them. Are you doing cams?

The part number you need is #33-5350, S&S standard lifter. The lifters went bad on my new bike and I had them replaced with the above part number. I called S&S direct and was told to use the standard lifter.

"These tappets are a great choice for any stock or high performance application. Only the finest materials and precision machining techniques are used in the manufacture of these lifters, and strict quality control insures that they will work flawlessly every time, no matter what the application. Whether you have a stock 88 incher or the most outrageous big inch engine with a radical cam and spring combination, S&S tappets are built to take it. Sold as a set of 4, HL2T kit not included.

Features and Benefits:
Reduced valve train noise from start up to shut down
Close tolerances for low leak down rates - fast pump up and superior high rpm performance
Low mass, bearing grade, silicon nitride check ball and lighter check ball spring - enhances fast pump up and quiet operation
100% tested to ensure that leak down and top end oil flow are within specification

Harley-Davidson® part number 18538-99C, 18538-99A, and 18538-99B"
