New tires
I'm having two black wall Dunlops put on my 2005 RKC @ my local dealers here in Maine. The bike has wire spoke wheels, so tubes are required. I was quoted $542 and change. Good price/ bad price?

get the tires and tubes online(honda tubes are great they have a long metal 90 valve stem) dont get tubes from drag specialties they use cheep china tubes I've had 2 flats from bad tubes. then take your tubes and tires down to the metric shop they do them much cheeper.

I just paid $680, for two new Dunlop's. I think it cost more to mount having a EG vs a RK, because of the extra work involved. I had 12000 miles on my tires. The centerline in my rear was smooth, the sides still had plenty of tread, but I didn't want to take any chances. I always kept the tires at the recommended pressure #6 front 40 in the rear. I saw someone say that they actually got over 20,000 miles on a set of tires.
