Trickle charge pigtail from battery... which tender does this plug into????
I ride the crap out of my bike.. Never is long enough to need a trickle charger but I have a few bucks in my paypal account and thought why not. Which trickle charger plugs into this pigtail on my bike. Just want to buy the trickle charge without the pigtail.. I know it takes 5 minutes to put a new pigtail on it but just want to get a cheap trickle charger that will plug into my pigtail and be done. Help?
mantainer not trickle(their is a difference) battery tender jr by deltron, they make the harley branded ones as well about 20-25 $.use mine all the time.
It'll fit the Deltran tenders. Check this one out. Comes with extra pigtails so you can use it on riding lawn mowers, and anything that you're tired of replacing the battery on every year. I have one and leave my riding mower plugged into it when the bike isn't on it. Keep watching this site as they usually run less than $20.
Don't buy a 'trickle' charger, buy a battery tender (or 'minder' as we call them). Every one I've seen worth buying will come with the correct pigtail and if you really can't be bothered to fit it.......
I've heard that type of connector called an SAE connector (versus a coax connector like that used in heated gear). This is a standard connector used on battery tenders, which is what you want, not a trickle charger. They're cheap and available everywhere.
