plz help with speedometer

thanks each and everyone of you guy's. I have fought with this for 5 evenings now(after replacing the sensor) so I ordered a new speedometer. Oh Steve, the odometer has always worked and is correct, it's actually just the MPH needle. The gentleman at the dealer is ordering the speedometer from the factory because I wanted the miles set to where mine is and said that it could take a month to get it but I will for sure post me results & OMG don't know what I'll do if this doesn't correct my problem.....

If that happens not to correct your problem consider getting a Garmin Zumo. They tend to reflect more accurate MPH than HD speedometers anyway.

I just wanted to give an update since you guy's were good enough to assist me with this issue. I ordered a new speedometer & had them set the orig miles on it. I now have a working speedometer.

For the OP, the turn signal info was incomplete. If the speed sensor fails or the wiring to it fails, the turn signals will still work but the automatic cancelling no longer works. Loss of speed indication AND loss of automatic turn signal cancellation are typical symptoms of speed sensor failure or speed sensor wiring problems. Speed data runs through the turn signal module for signal cancellation so the plug on the TSM is another item to check when speedo problems arise. Glad you got your problem fixed.
