Default Tall Boy vs. Hammock

Anyone tried both? I am talking just about comfort, I realize the TBoy sits you back 2 in. but I just mean how does the Hammock feel on your can? I have the TallBoy and I ride two-up 95% of the time.

I have the heated hammock on my 11 EGC. Very comfortable. No pressure points. Even when I had the stock shocks on still it smoothed out the ride. No jarring your spine on big bumps. The girlfriend likes it too. I've never rode on a tall boy, so I can't compare them for you. Some dealers have demo seats you can try for a day. Might wanna look into trying one that way first.

I have the heated Hammock as well. My wife LOVES the comfort of the seat. It does change your seating position, and I am getting new bars to compensate for it. Never tried the Tall boy seat. Mostly since I am at best average height.

I recently got the Hammock seat for my 09 Street Glide and I wouldn't trade it for anything. That is the single best upgrade I have done for my bike. I ride 2 up 90% of the time and she loves it too! I have to say also, that I noticed that with the hammock it did seem to move me back a little bit which was a good thing for me since I am 6'6". I would recommend going to a dealer and utilizing their demo seat program also. That way you know for sure what works best for you.

I have both, tallboy on my road king and the hammock on my road glide. I like them both. The tallboy will raise you a bit more and set you back more than the hammock. The hammock is bit more comfy but honestly, once I broke the tallboy in, I can ride all day in either.

I have both. In my opinion, Harley should make a Tallboy Hammock. The Hammock is more comfortable on your butt, and the Tallboy is a more comfortable seating position if you have longer legs. I actually took my Tallboy to a seat maker and had extra padding added to it. It made it a lot more comfortable, but I still think the Hammock is more comfortable on the butt.
