My view and not meant to be offending, the deal isn't a good one, in that 2010 SG are selling for less money than that offer, and through dealerships. No one said you had to buy it at that dealership or even in that city, or even in that state. Throw your net wider to get more prices, then go pick it up, a u-haul rental trailer is only $20.00 per day.
Then I would have to agree with the other posters, not a smart deal. You won't have equity in a used motorcycle rolling over a loss from a sporty. If you think so then do the deal and sell it the next day and pay off the loan, and take the "equity" and use it as a down payment on a cheaper bike.
I guess I would come up with the difference in payoff then put that on your current loan so you are not upside down then sell the bike to get out from under it. Then save some more money to buy another bike, or just ride what you have and save some money, but don't roll over an upside down loan into another one.
Thanks guys. Didnt do the deal. Gonna take the payment that would of been for the sg and put it towards the sporty and try and lower the neg equity
I know how you feel I'm wanting to trade My 06 Road Glide that I still owe on For a 15 RG. I have been saving and working as much as I can to pay off this loan fast ! Good Luck ! Just stay focused !!
