Default Fuel pump?
My new to me 99 flhtci justs had trouble starting. The fuel pump didn't come on. The light flashed 9 then 3. Not sure if this is a wiring issue, I did just put a PC3 in it a few days ago. Thinking its the pump as it don't sound to good. Any insight would be great. Would like to fix before becoming stranded.

Bypass the PCIII first and go from there.

And check your bank tilt sensor on the left side attached to the frame under the side cover. I replaced my fuel pump before I realized that the tilt sensor was screwing with it. You can disconnect it and then ground it to check it. You may get an engine light but the bike will run strong. $62 at the Dealer.

It starts now but maybe should keep socket in bag to be able to do that if needed on the road. Hopefully it was a one time deal. Just checked again & pump primes. Going to check the hook up may be bend all the pins a touch. Tried finding that code with no luck

Stiggy it looks like 3 wires to it a b & c. Which do u ground.

Its been a few years but I think it was the green/grey wire.
