trans whine
I have a 2012 ultra classic, new to me...bike whines like it has a supercharger on it. all gears could this be the auto primary tensioner? just serviced primary, trans and engine oil and still there..running hd primary trans fluid..any thoughts?

I have a 12 CVO that whines in first on decel only, even with the clutch pulled in. Had Syn 3 in there, was advised to get it out, so I went with Redline primary fluid. It has greatly reduced the noise, only have a couple hundred miles on it since, so I am still checking it out.

My bike did the same thing last year pull your outer primary and back your auto adjuster back a couple clicks the chain is to tight. Follow the service manual on how to remove it then back it off and re install.
