Default 2010 Ultra Handlebar Change

I know this has probably come up before (I just don't have the patience to look). I would like to add a couple of inches to my handlebars on my 2010 ultra classic but don't want to switch cables. Someone told me that the bars off of a Heritage Softail would do the trick. Does anyone have any input on this? Thanks

From the hundreds of times I have read about this topic that this has come up, you are correct.

Well, ol' buddy, sorry to take up your time. I guess I'll just crawl into my hole and wait for death to come knocking.

Hey Mike, was just trying to loosen things up. Nothing else intended. Did look it up though, and found something on pg 5 or 6. Patience is a virtue that I haven't figured out yet...running out of time it seems.

The HD Reduced Reach bars. I put a set on my 09 Ultra they're perfect but you'll need a longer clutch cable to route as originally set from the factory. Some guys have used the stock cable by routing it under the fairing rather than through it. For me, I decided to have the job done right once and not worry about it again.

WO 575's on my 09 and no mods and love the new bars. much more comfort and leverage than stock. I also like wires inside the bars.

I'll say it again - buy the most comfortable bars and the cables that go with it. Personally I wouldnt want cables stretched to the max for bars that are lower than optimal, but thats just me.
