Default Primary chain tensioners

Have an '09 Ultra. I am wondering about the tightness of the primary chain. I have the stock HD adjuster but I always hear they run tight. Is there a better adjuster for this or should I just leave it be? I don't seem to have any issues except a shutdown clunk every once in awhile, and a little trickey to get in neutral sometimes (yes, I've tried F+, Rotella, ATF) but other than that no issues.

Baker Attitude adjuster. Mark@Bakerdrivetrain is on here often. You can ask him about it in the morning.

Baker Attitude Adjuster on my 09 for 10K miles and no problems and easy shifting and neutral.

The Baker is a good unit if expensive and a pain to install. I hear the newer, 11-12up?, stock auto adjusters are good? I had my stock adjuster welded in place after tiring the Haden which was too tight.

A shut down clunk usually means you have a comp issue. If you're not having issues with your OEM tensioner, why replaced it?

Mainly because the bike only has 12000 miles on it, alittle early to be replacing a comp and if it is bad from what I understand the tensioners used before the 10-15 year model bikes were running tighter than they should. Just trying to stop a possible issue before I lose an ipb or anything else

To install the Baker Attitude Adjuster you must pull the compensator. So I'd replace that too, especially since it has a high failure rate. In addition to that my OCD kicked in and I even replaced my stator with a Cycle Electric one while the whole thing was apart.
