When I start the bike (noticing it in the mornings) it will fire right off, and then idle way down about 5 seconds after that and if I don't get on the throttle a little bit it'll die. Kind of a new thing that recently started happening.
(sorry, i had a video to post, but cant' get it to work).
But use Throttle Body Cleaner. There is a difference.
look for "sensor safe" labeling
also make sure the rubber plug shown in the pic above ( #2) is in place on the throttle body- if you have a CA model a rubber hose will be on that fitting
That bike does not have an IAC but do clean the intake and ensure the little black cap pictured as number 2 in the above photos is still there.

I lost one of those caps on a trip once..... hard to start and sometimes a backfire that would sound like a gunshot. Sent a log to Tmax, (I was running their tuner) and they told me it was missing.
Now I carry a spare, you never know
