Been looking for a new seat and saw a road zeppelin on craigs list for $350. Seller says seat has 300 miles on it. Are they good seats? My stock seat has 30k and feels like a rock after a few hours. Thanks for any input.
I have one, in my opinion it doesn't get any better than a road Zeppelin especially for long rides.you can adjust as you ride. They are big but they are comfortable. And it seems like a good price. I also have a smaller seat for around town but anything more than 100 miles I put the Zeppelin on
Found mine to be very comfortable for those longer days in the saddle. The ability to make slight adjustments is enough to ward off those late day hot spots. $350 is a good price, but you want to make sure there are no air leaks.
+1 on the Zep seat been using on since 09 - cats *** on long rides - when you got that extra 50 miles to go - you can do it . price is pretty cheap ...make sure it holds air and fits your bike.
Way cheap. It may not fit in a smaller car...lol, it's huge.
I have one but it needs refoaming and recovering.
That costs more than what I paid for the seat....
Last year I rode with one from my Dealer's "Demo Seat" collection where you can ride before you buy.
Didn't care for it, returned.
Mean City Seat mod did the trick for me.
I had the older version on my 2007 Ultra. It was a perfect seat for me. I could ride all day and only stop for gas with no issues. It was leather with 3 bladders front and 2 bladders back.
I have the newer version on my 2011 Limited. It is also a very comfortable seat for long distance traveling. No leather available on this one and 2 bladders front and 1 bladder back.
