Any guys in the central Indiana area have a good shop they go to? The shop I was going to shut down recently.
I'm looking for a new shop, I have a 2011 Electra Glide Ultra Classic and my cruise control doesn't work. the light on the dash comes is on when the switch is turned on, but when I try to set it it doesn't work.
Have you changed grips, installed custom levers, had the switch boxes split for any reason? A damaged front brake light switch is far and away the most common reason for cruise failure in throttle by wire bikes. ANYTHING that causes the brake light to flash or stay on will disable the cruise. What other work or adjustments have been done prior to the malfunction?
Sorry been a rough week and I forgot I posted this. I have apes that were put on the bike after I got it in January. So I guess something could have happened when those were put on. Thing is I'm not great at finding the issue bc I don't know what I'm looking for.
I like Indy West HD. I live pretty close to you. It could be a pinched wire in the switch housing, or a damaged switch on the front brake lever from when the apes were put on.

I like the guys over there too, its just SO expensive to get anything done at a dealership. I've found that local shops are much more affordable and easy to work with. I may just have to do it I guess.
