Checking in to see if I am imagining things or if it is a possibility.
My 2013 Electra Glide has been running great since my stage one upgrade. I was not overly thrilled with the sound of my 31/2" Rinehats so I jumped on a deal for a set of V&H downturns. Took it for about a 40 mile ride, really like the lower tone of the pipes but seems to me the bike has less get up and go, off the line it seems a little slower and at high RPM does not seem to get to the speeds it did previously.
I have not hooked the powervision back up to fine tune yet and will do that hopefully on the weekend.
Wondering if what I think I was feeling is a possibility or a common occurrence.
Could just be my imagination, was paying more attention to the sound.
Dumping rain here for the next few days, need to get it out and put it through a good run.
I have those mufflers, and they do kill low rpm because the baffles are ridiculously big - I put a set of BCT Quiet Baffles in the pipes just before the mufflers and couldn't believe the improvement. As far as high speed, probably same effect - reversion waves eliminated, not there to scavenge exhaust...
