I need to change the Battery on my 2010 ultra and I have the security with the siren. I pull the fuse before disconnecting the battery and the siren goes off. I have tried disarming and it does not want to go off. I've searched and can't find anything on this.
I have the manual and can't find it in there either. Thanks in advance for the help.
When disconnecting the battery or removing the main fuse, perform the following steps to prevent the optional siren from sounding.
1. Verify that the fob is present.
2. Turn the ignition key to IGNITION.
3. Pull the main fuse from its holder or disconnect the battery.
From a 2012 manual:"If equipped with security System siren turn ignition on with the hands free fob present to disarm the security system."
No mention in the battery Disconnection and removal section of pulling fuses. I would assume they want the kill switch off but no mention of it.
