Default Question regarding pipe change

Ive ordered some pipes, headers, A/C and the fuel pak 3 for my 2015 SGS.

I plan to do the install myself, but have never done a full pipe change, just slip-ons. Are there any little things I might be missing that I need to purchase or have to properly get everything going?

If I was informed correctly, with the fuelpak 3 I will not be required to take it for a dyno correct?

Thanks

Jason

All 3 gaskets. If the fuelpack has the right map no need for the dyno.

do you have a manual? there is a specific order as to how you tighten the header nuts up, you don't just throw them up there and tighten them. plus the torque spec is not very high either.

Thanks Skratch,

I do have a manual for the bike and assume the pipes will come with one...maybe not though. I plan to watch a few videos to make sure I know what Im doing lol

You usually need to snug up the pipes on their crush gaskets, and then again after a couple hundred miles.

^^ +1, Also, put some anti-sieze on the studs... you will be glad you did later....

After you have everything installed, make sure to wipe the pipes down with a soft cloth. If you leave greasy (sweaty) fingerprints may get
'burned in' when the pipes heat up.

Fallow the Pipe instructions along with manual on proper torque, have some
anti-seize & blue loctite handy. It will not be that hard to do.
