one more thumbs up for biketronics! give them a call they will set you up and forum members get a discount. I've set mine bike side by side with one that had the boom 2 system with bag speakers and blew it away.
Even if they have fixed it...the Boom amps don’t come anywhere near close to pumping out the same power as the BT4180 or the Arc Audio 600.4. Without question either the BT or the Soundz Customs should be your only two “package” options. Both have done the necessary R&D and provide detail instructions on what flash works with their products. Soundz has Focal speakers, Biketronics are made by Hybrid Audio Tech (HAT) both those companies are HIGH end audio companies. You simply can not compare that to the garbage HD is trying to package and sell overpriced. They're VERY late to the audio game.
If it were me. 100% the customer service is with BT. They’ve been so damn good to me that I added them to my sig. I’ve never, in my life, received the same customer service for anything I’ve ever purchased in my life.
I just had the amp and stage 2 speakers put in my RGS. I am not happy. There is a vibration in the fairing that makes the music sound bad. The down load they put in ( 192_off.bin) gives no bass or treble control.
The music sounds bad esp when playing the radio. Playing from blue tooth is better but still not great,
Dealer is trying to figure it all out
I am trying to figure out if I can download a configuration closer to some of the after market setups that seem to work better
