My FLHTK is going to be parked out back for awhile and I need a good cover. Don't want the advertising on the moco's covers, and would like to hear from those of you who've had some experience with these things.
Doesn't need to be ultralight, as I won't be traveling with it - strictly for use at the house. It should breath, and not damage the finish in windy conditions.
I bought one from J&P,( Ultragard) Great cover, can be put on with bike hot, Mine is outside all the time. the only problem is with a heavy rain is that it pools over the seat, doesn't leak, but if there was a way to get it tighter so the rain would run off.
My bike is under one of these covers from Champion Covers when it is in the garage. It works ok. Keeps the dust off. Provides a little protection. Inexpensive.
It seems that all covers are built to fit with the front wheel pointed straight ahead. But most of us park our bikes with the front wheel turned to the left. Does anyone make a cover built to fit with front wheel turned left?

put a plastic coffee container ( or something ) on the seat it will raise it up and let the water run off

I never found that it matters if the wheel was straight or turned to the side. The cover still fits.
I put a small bucket on the seat to support the cover, but i also put a "jonny" toilet block in the bucket. Keeps away the damn cats and other creatures.
