The headset cables on the Harley brand headsets are heavy, just like the ones used for J&M ((although the J&M's are a bit longer)) becuase that is what it takes to be durable, so that the cables don't fail every other day ,,,,,
the Harley brand headset cables are often too short however which causes the cables to pull out occaisionally while riding ,,,, which can be quite frustrating ,,,,,,
I am going to make a separate post on the antennas, as I think alot of folks here on the board would like the correct information on the J&M shorty antennas ,,,,

I've got two shorty antennas -- one for CB and one for regular radio. They retail for $40 each, and I'll let them go for $60 for both -- and I pay shipping. I had them on the bike for one trip, then returned the OEM antennas. Personal preference, I guess.....
